You have to purchase various colors of heat set paints, a paint curing oven, eyes, hair, a cloth body, a heat set mixing medium for the paint, heat set varnish, brushes, a drying rack to hang the parts while drying, or while cooling after baking/curing. You have to cure after each layer of paint. When done painting, you have to varnish and cure to protect the paint. It is a lot of work and a really big investment. Please do not buy cheap synthetic hair, or imitation mohair, it is terrible to work with, I learned my lesson, you will end up making a lot of holes in your baby doll and maybe get 1 or 2 hair in. Just be careful, if you want to know whom I bought my hair from, just ask me. I have no secrets. I will share the good things I found. I already did the trial and error part. Also, I love "glass" eyes, Oval flat back glass eyes are nicest and fit best, but you may be ok with acrylic. It's up to you. I love the realism of the glass eyes. All my dolls have glass eyes, you will need from 20mm to 24mm depending on the kit you buy.
