There is an entire community of women who collect the realistic baby dolls for very different reasons, yet they formed a community and have gatherings and collaborations with other collectors on cute outfits for their babies, rosy wednesdays, blue tuesdays, friday at the park, role play videos, to not feel alone and weird. More often now there are people who stumble onto these videos by accident and post really heartless, nasty comments, some just write: "oh boy, adult women playing with dolls, how did i get here?" I am so sick of people being so mean to each other, especially over something they have no idea about... And WHY is it so wrong for women to have a hobby like this? They are well aware those are not real babies but just dolls, they are having fun and not harming anyone. Have you seen 40, 50, 60 year old guys go nuts about choo choo trains? Why is it "NORMAL" for them and not ok and weird for us? Some guys collect stamps, which is also for little boys....

I found a really cute hat for Arianka. I can just imagine her in an adorable pastel dress and braids. I plan on making this hat a little more dressy for her, with more flowers and a ribbon/bow. They only had a bigger baby hat, not for Phoebes head.

Many artists are painting this baby right now, but for some reason I dont feel any connection to this kit. Like with Phoebe -I was painting the little one and I just knew I had to have her for me, only bigger. But I look at this doll and nothing, no desire to get her and paint her at all.

Wow different angles of the camera and the color is completely different. The kit is actually pinkish, not orangy. I am wondering if the nails are too subtle. Should I make them a little more pronounced? I don't want it to look like a french manicure, but I also don't want it to look like i didn't do anything 😕
